Sedlčanský Vltavín Cheese
Sedlčanský vltavín is a traditional Czech soft ripened cheese from the Sedlčany region in Central Bohemia. It is made from cow's milk and ripens for approximately 4-6 weeks, during which it develops its characteristic creamy texture and a mildly piquant flavour. The surface of the cheese is covered with a pale rind with a layer of white mould. It is excellent on cheese boards, served with fresh bread, fruit and wine.
