Mango

Mango

Mango is a tropical fruit originally from South Asia, now cultivated across tropical regions worldwide. It is known for its juicy, sweet to sweet-tangy flesh in shades of yellow and orange. In the kitchen it is highly versatile, eaten fresh, added to fruit salads, smoothies, desserts and also savoury dishes such as salads, curry sauces and salsas. Unripe mango is widely used in Asian cuisine to prepare spicy dishes and pickled specialities. It is a rich source of vitamin C, vitamin A, potassium and dietary fibre. Its intense flavour and aroma make it one of the most beloved tropical fruits in the world.
