Prosecco

Prosecco

Prosecco is an Italian sparkling wine from the Veneto and Friuli regions, made primarily from the Glera grape variety. Unlike Champagne, it undergoes secondary fermentation in tanks using the Charmat method, giving it a fresh, fruity character with notes of white blossom, pear and apple. In the kitchen, it is enjoyed as an aperitif, used as the base for cocktails such as Aperol Spritz or Bellini, and added to light sauces, risotto and marinades. It pairs well with seafood, cheeses and light starters.
