Coffee frappé with absinthe

Preparation

Prepare 4 tall glasses and put ice into the blender.

Prepare a strong black coffee (200 ml of espresso or cold brew) and let it cool. Pour the cooled coffee into a bowl, add sugar, and stir briefly.

Add absinthe and milk if desired. Pour everything into the blender jug.
Mixing

Blend on high speed for 30-45 seconds until a thick, stable foam forms and the drink is well chilled.

Divide the frappé with its foam into 4 glasses. Adjust dilution if needed by adding a few ice cubes.
Serving

Garnish the glasses with a lemon slice on the rim or drop a slice into the drink.

Serve immediately ice-cold. Anyone who prefers a sweeter drink can sweeten it directly in the glass.
More tips:
For the richest foam, whip the coffee with water and sugar first. add the absinthe and ice only just before the end of blending.
