Milk is a white liquid produced by mammary glands of mammals, most commonly cows. Contains proteins, fats, lactose, calcium, and B vitamins. Produced as whole, semi-skimmed, and skimmed. Used as a beverage, in cooking, baking, and as the base for producing butter, cheese, and yoghurt.
