Spice Mix - Paella

Paella spice mix is a pre-blended combination of spices designed for preparing this famous Spanish dish. The base consists of saffron or its more affordable substitute turmeric, which gives the rice its characteristic golden colour. The blend typically also includes sweet paprika, garlic, rosemary, thyme, and pepper. Using a ready-made mix simplifies the cooking process and ensures an authentic flavour without the need to source each ingredient separately. It works well for the classic Valencian paella with chicken and vegetables, as well as seafood versions. Simply add the mix to the rice along with stock and the remaining ingredients.
