Ram's Horn Peppers

Beraní rohy-01

Ram's horn peppers are a variety of hot pepper (Capsicum annuum) with characteristically curved, elongated fruits resembling ram's horns. The peppers start green and ripen through yellow and orange to red. They have a medium to high heat level and a pronounced pepper flavour. In Central European cuisine, they are most commonly pickled in a sweet-and-sour brine or preserved as a popular winter condiment. They also work well in salads, on pizza, with meat or as a spicy addition to cold platters and sandwiches.
