Malibu

Malibu

Malibu is a popular coconut-flavored liqueur blended with white rum, originally from the Caribbean. It is characterized by a smooth, sweet taste with a distinctive coconut aroma and a relatively low alcohol content of 21% ABV. In both bartending and cooking, it is used in tropical cocktails, dessert drinks, and pastry recipes. The most classic serve is with pineapple juice or cola. It is also added to ice creams, cakes, cream fillings, and fruit salads to bring an exotic twist. Its pleasant sweetness also makes it a surprisingly good addition to marinades for poultry or shrimp.
