Jasmine rice

Jasmínová rýže

Jasmine rice is a fragrant long-grain rice originating from Thailand, named for its delicate, lightly floral aroma reminiscent of jasmine blossoms. When cooked, it is slightly sticky and tender with a subtly sweet flavor. It is a staple of Thai, Vietnamese and Southeast Asian cuisine. It pairs excellently as a side dish with curries, stir-fries, coconut milk dishes and various meat-based sauces. For best results in preserving its aroma and texture, it is recommended to cook it using the absorption method.
