Ground dates

Mleté datle

Ground dates are dried dates blended into a smooth, sticky paste that serves as a natural sweetener and binding agent in the kitchen. They have an intensely sweet, caramel-like flavour with honey undertones. They are most commonly used in gluten-free and raw baking as a sugar substitute or as part of fillings and fondants. They work perfectly in energy bars, bliss balls, smoothies, fruit cakes, and healthy cookies. Unlike white sugar, ground dates contain fibre, potassium, magnesium, and B vitamins. Only a small amount is needed due to their pronounced sweetness. They are a popular ingredient in healthy alternative confectionery.
