Clove - aromatic spice

Clove is the dried flower bud of the tropical clove tree from Indonesia. It is among the most intensely flavoured spices thanks to its high eugenol content. It has a warm, pungent taste. Used whole and ground in mulled wine, baked goods, marinades, and meat dishes. Traditionally used for toothache relief.
