Couscous - Moroccan national dish (Couscous)
Couscous is the national dish of Morocco. Semolina granules are steamed in a double pot called a couscoussier. Meat and vegetables braise on the bottom while the steam cooks the couscous above.
Friday is couscous day, when the family gathers for lunch. The most famous version features seven vegetables. In 2020 it was inscribed on the UNESCO list.
