Zrazy - Polish Beef Roulades
Zrazy (zrazy zawijane) are an elegant Polish dish. Thin slices of beef are spread with mustard, filled with bacon, onion and pickled cucumber, then rolled up.
The roulades are seared and slowly braised in a sauce made from beef broth with mushrooms or tomatoes. They are served with mashed potatoes or dumplings and rank among the more festive dishes of Polish cuisine.
