Hot Dog - American sausage in a bun

Hot dog is one of the most widespread American foods, becoming a symbol of street food and sports stadiums. A sausage (most commonly beef or pork) is placed in a soft elongated bun and topped with various condiments. The most famous varieties include the New York hot dog with mustard and sauerkraut and the Chicago hot dog with pickles and onion. Billions of hot dogs are consumed in the USA annually, especially during summer and national holidays.
