Trdelník - chimney cake

Trdelník is a traditional sweet pastry made by wrapping yeast dough around a spit and baking it over an open fire or in an oven. The finished trdelník is coated in sugar and cinnamon, optionally with ground nuts. It originates from Skalica in Slovakia, where it has been baked since the 18th century.
