Tacos are the most famous Mexican dish. A small corn tortilla is filled with meat, onion, coriander and topped with salsa. Each region has its own signature tacos.
The most popular are tacos al pastor with pork and pineapple, tacos de carnitas with braised pork, and tacos de birria with beef. Authentic tacos are served on a double tortilla.
