Sweet Pierogi - Slovak dessert dumplings

Pierogi are beloved dumplings found in both Polish and Slovak culinary traditions. In Poland, pierogi come in savoury and sweet varieties, filled with cottage cheese and potatoes, sauerkraut, or meat.

In Slovakia, sweet pirohy filled with plum jam or cottage cheese are a cherished dessert, sprinkled with sugar and drizzled with butter. Both cultures consider these dumplings an essential part of their culinary heritage.
