Sundubu Jjigae - spicy tofu stew
Sundubu jjigae is a spicy stew made with extra soft uncurdled tofu with a silky texture. The base consists of broth with gochugaru, garlic and sesame oil combined with seafood or meat.
It is served bubbling in a clay pot (ttukbaegi) with a cracked egg. It is accompanied by a bowl of rice and banchan side dishes.
