Nabe - Japanese hot pot

Nabe (nabemono) is a Japanese communal cooking style where a pot of broth is placed on a burner in the center of the table and everyone cooks ingredients to their liking.

The most famous variations are shabu-shabu (sliced meat in broth), sukiyaki (sweet-savoury pot), and chanko nabe (sumo wrestlers' hot pot). Rice or noodles are added to the remaining broth at the end.
