Manti - Turkish filled dumplings
Manti are Turkish dumplings, much smaller than European ones - traditionally 40 fit on a spoon. They are filled with a mixture of minced lamb or beef with onion and spices.
They are served with garlic yoghurt and drizzled with paprika butter. Dried mint and sumac are sprinkled on top. The most celebrated manti come from the city of Kayseri in central Anatolia, where their preparation is an art form.
