Lahmacun - Turkish flatbread with meat
Lahmacun is a thin crispy flatbread spread with a mixture of minced lamb, tomatoes, peppers, onions, and herbs. It is often called Turkish pizza, but contains no cheese and is much thinner.
It is baked in an extremely hot oven for just a few minutes. Before eating, it is sprinkled with fresh parsley, squeezed with lemon, and rolled up. It originates from southeastern Turkey and is a beloved fast food.
