Korbáčik - Slovak braided string cheese

Korbáčik is a traditional Slovak string cheese shaped into braids. It is made from cow's milk by stretching curd and hand-braiding into characteristic strands. It has a springy texture and gently salty milky flavour. A smoked variety also exists. It is a popular delicacy at markets and fairs in Slovakia and Czechia.
