Kibbeh - Lebanese Meat Croquettes

Kibbeh is the national dish of Lebanon made from finely ground lamb, bulgur wheat, onion, and spices. The most famous are fried oval croquettes called kibbeh mikliyeh filled with meat and pine nuts.

There are many variations: kibbeh nayyeh (raw), kibbeh bil saniyeh (baked), and kibbeh labanieh (in yogurt sauce).
