Giblets - traditional cooking ingredient
Giblets are edible internal organs of poultry and livestock, liver, heart, gizzards, and necks. They are used in traditional giblet soup, ragout, and stuffings. Poultry giblets are rich in iron, vitamin B12, and quality protein. Liver should not be cooked too long to prevent toughening. Goose giblets are considered a delicacy.
