Dolmades - stuffed vine leaf rolls

Dolmades are rolls made from vine leaves stuffed with rice, fresh herbs (dill, mint), onion and pine nuts.

They are slowly braised in olive oil and lemon juice. The meatless version is served cold with avgolemono sauce, while the meat version includes minced lamb. Dolmades are a beloved Greek meze at picnics and family gatherings.
