Dim Sum, Chinese Dumplings and Delicacies
Dim sum is a traditional Cantonese dining style in which a wide variety of small dishes is served with tea. The most famous are steamed dumplings filled with pork, shrimp, or vegetables, prepared in bamboo steamers.
The dim sum tradition dates back to teahouses along the Silk Road. Today dim sum is a social event where families share dozens of dishes. Among the most popular are har gow, siu mai, and char siu bao.
