Burrito - Mexican stuffed tortilla

Burrito is one of the most popular dishes in Mexican cuisine. A large wheat tortilla is filled with a combination of ingredients such as grilled meat, beans, rice, cheese and salsa. The entire contents are wrapped into a tight cylinder.

It originally comes from northern Mexico and the name means little donkey. The American Mission burrito variant was created in San Francisco in the 1960s and is known for its generous fillings.
