Brynza Dumplings - Slovak national dish

Brynza dumplings are the most famous Slovak dish and a symbol of Slovak gastronomy. They are made from potato dough grated through a special sieve into boiling water, creating small irregular dumplings.

The cooked dumplings are mixed with sheep brynza cheese, giving them a characteristic tangy flavour. They are topped with fried bacon and drizzled with its fat.
