Bobó de Camarão - shrimp in cassava sauce

Bobó de Camarão is one of the most luxurious dishes of Bahian cuisine. It features shrimp braised in a thick creamy sauce made from cassava purée, coconut milk, and dendê palm oil. The result is a silky smooth dish with rich flavour, blending the sweetness of coconut milk with gentle spiciness and fresh shrimp taste. It is served with white rice and often accompanied by farofa (toasted cassava flour).
